Kneeboarding is a surface water sport in which the participant kneels on a hydrodynamical board, holding on to a rope and handle, while being towed behind a motorboat . Kneeboards are a short and very buoyant style boards with no fins. Riders kneel on the foam padded top of the board and use an adjustable velcro strap over their thighs to secure themselves to the board. Most kneeboards do not have fins and allow the kneeboarder to easily surface spin. Kneeboarding is a great sport for anyone who is unfamiliar with being towed in the water or isn't quite comfortable with standing up on a board yet.
